Who We Are

Welcome, and thanks for checking out our church page! We’re a new, non-denominational Christian fellowship based in Bitterne, Southampton. We aim to worship God through teaching and living the Bible, authentic and heartfelt songs, and through loving and serving each other and our community.

Meet the Team

Ray and Sharon

Ray is the teaching Pastor of the church, supported unstintingly by his wife, Sharon. Both Ray and Sharon have been married since 1977 and have been Christians for over 40-years. Ray has, for most of this 40-year period, been involved in church leadership, leading house-groups and has been a teaching pastor for the last 8-years. Sharon has supported this ministry throughout by supplying lots of common sense and producing delightful cakes and puddings for church meals.

Joe and Ali

Joe and Ali are part of the Leadership Team and have been active in the church since it began. They have been married since 2004 and have a long history of serving the Lord together in church. You will typically find Joe behind his red guitar leading worship, and Ali organising a noisy and fun game for the children.

Our Mission

Declaring the Gospel

The gospel, which is the good news of Jesus Christ, is perhaps the most significant news headline that the world has ever known. It tells us that Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we could be forgiven, and that through him, we can have confidence in an eternal life filled with perfection. This news is too good to keep to ourselves, and we strive to share it with others.

Teaching the Bible

The Bible is God's self-revelation. It tells us everything we need to know about Him, how He wants us to live, and what His plans and purposes are for us. Our goal is to faithfully present the truth of the Bible and allow it to shape our faith and practice.

Cultivating Community

Having believed the gospel and been taught the Bible, we then aim to live it out! We want to build a local community with a shared faith, so we plan and schedule activities with the aim of reaching out into our local community to preach the gospel and make disciples.

Encouraging Good Works

Doing good is a natural expression of a transformed heart. As Christ came to serve and do good, so we, as His body on earth, strive to continue that service to one another, the wider community, and all mankind.
